Naw Eh Phaw - FXB Myanmar

Naw Eh Phaw is of Kayin ethnicity. Her parents are poor farmers in the Mekong Delta region and could not afford her education. So, at the age of 14, she left home to try to find work in Yangon. After a few months, she was hired at a garment factory. Underpaid, overworked, with her rights violated, lacking specific skills and basic education, she was exploited for four years.

Fortunately, she heard about the FXB vocational training center and was able to join the sewing program. In addition to theoretical and practical training in sewing and business management, she received nutritional, financial, and material support and was able to develop essential life skills.

She has now opened her own sewing workshop. In just a few months, she has managed to build a loyal customer base thanks to the quality of her creations.
